If you've made it this far, we're assuming you're interested in furthering your privacy posture.
Here are a few tips to protect your home and families:
Have a home security camera system & pay for the subscription
Crimes are often solved when home security camera footage is available. The presence of a camera acts as a deterrent.
Don't advertise absences
Avoid posting travel plans in real time.
Have a neighbor grab your mail and packages.
Improve outdoor visibility
Trim bushes and trees near windows and doors.
Keep entryways well-lit and avoid letting landscaping create hiding spots.
Add glass break sensors to your home security system
Standard door and window sensors only trigger when the frame is opened. If someone breaks the glass and reaches inside without opening the window or door, those sensors may never activate. Glass break sensors detect the sound or vibration of shattering glass, helping ensure your system alerts you even when intruders try to bypass traditional entry sensors.
